From the bold strokes and flat colors of ukiyo-e, to the evolution into manga, to animation, and beyond—lines have been the foundation of Japanese visual storytelling for centuries.

With a career spanning Square Enix, Production I.G, and Toei Animation, Hiroshi Miyamoto founded ABC ANIMATION STUDIO in 2020.
He continues to transcend the boundaries between 2D hand-drawn artistry and 3DCG innovation, crafting bold new visual expressions.
The studio’s debut work, produced in collaboration with Hollywood, is the animation film project “DEATH STRANDING MOSQUITO.”
